Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the leadership at one of Ung fritids' youth centers. You will actively participate in the daily work with the youth in the program and work to inspire, challenge, and support young people in their development. You will enable youth participation and activities that promote non-formal learning and be a source of inspiration and creativity. You will actively engage in creating and maintaining various activities with youth groups at the youth center.
In your work to realize the program's goals, you are expected to drive and develop initiatives among the youth leaders and lead and distribute work at the youth center. You will also be responsible for planning, follow-up, and results of the youth center's activities.
As a program leader, you are not a manager, but you have leadership responsibility at your youth center and are part of the unit's management team, representing the employer in the daily work at the center and the unit. You will also actively work with collaboration at both local and unit levels.

Your working hours are scheduled for both day, evening, and weekend with about 3 evening shifts per week.

Requirements:
- Relevant education, e.g., a youth leader education or another education that we consider relevant for the position.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Very good computer skills
- B driver's license

Meritorious:
- Knowledge in project management
- Knowledge and experience in contributing to building an equal and inclusive program for youth.
- Documented experience in budget planning and follow-up of allocated financial resources.
- Good knowledge of social media.
- Experience in creative creation in areas such as music and film
- Experience as a sports leader.

The workplace is located in Hovsjö a few kilometers from Södertälje city center and with good transportation links. At the youth center in Hovsjö, you will work with four colleagues plus a number of hourly substitutes.
